The Phoenix rising out of the ashes was part of a sculpted bonfire build in Carlisle. The 15 meter wide Phoenix firedrawing was lifted by a crane and the moving wings operated by performers. The fire beneath it burned for about 30 minutes and was followed by a spectacular firework display.
